Keith Cannon
Keith Cannon, President of Cannon & Co, began his real estate career in a small town in Michigan. Needing an apartment at the age of eighteen, and having no money, Keith negotiated his first deal. With all the vacant and abandoned spaces above the store fronts along Main Street, Keith would design and build a Chicago style flat in exchange for two years free rent...and the building owner would pay for materials! This was the start of something big!
Cannon's quest for developing real estate brought him to Grand Rapids in the late 1980's. Restoring historic homes, apartment buildings and developing office space not only kept Cannon busy, but earned him recognition from the Federal National Historic Preservation Committee by awarding him "Best Historic Renovation". Eventually this led to bigger projects such as the historically accurate renovation of a 16,000 square foot apartment building that had suffered extensive fire damage.
Currently a licensed builder and real estate broker, Keith's next focus was the creation of LaCati Custom Homes. His high-end custom homes have been recognized by the Grand Rapids Association of Home builders through such awards as Best Interior Elements and Best Site Harmony. Keith has also been features in the Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids Magazine and Grand Rapids Cosmopolitan Home Magazine.
