Urban living at its best
Stoner Hill Condominiums
When Freeland Stoner built the Stoner building in 1916, he had no idea of the inference that would be drawn with his last name in modern America. He also had no concept of condominiums or that Heritage Hill would enjoy appreciation rate of 10% a year. Freeland would go on to sell the Stoner in 1921 for $10,000. Lore also holds that a man who owned the Stoner building has a debilitating medical condition and was confined to one of the apartments. As a result of his condition, he needed a live in nurse. They would fall in love and upon his death left the Stoner to her. Sorry, as far as we know there are no ghosts!
